Terms and Conditions
Playargentina Sport y Travel SA is a certified and registered Travel Agency with the Secretaria de Turismo de la Nación (Empresa de Viajes y Turismo, Legajo Nº 13216, Disposición Nº 896) based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
It purchases transportation, hotel accommodation and other travel services for the purposes of tour itineraries with local suppliers that are not subject to its control.
Therefore Playargentina Sport y Travel SA can not be liable for death, personal injury or any other loss that may occur (1) due to an act or omission of any such supplier (2) by any reason of any other event over which it has no control.
Payment
Receipt of payment for any bookings made through Playargentina Sport y Travel SA shall constitute an agreement with Playargentina Sport y Travel SA in accordance with the set terms and conditions set out by Playargentina Sport y Travel SA.
All prices are subject to change without prior notice or warning.
Reservations must be made at least 3 months before the departure date to allow satisfactory time to arrange any tour in full. Any reservations made after such time will be subject to the discretion of Playargentina Sport y Travel SA.
A 20% deposit must be paid in advance to hold a reservation. Final payment must be received at least 60 days prior to departure.
Reservation fees for any flights that are booked on behalf of passengers are not refundable. Reservations may be cancelled by Playargentina Sport y Travel SA if any deposit or final payment is not made by the due dates.
Tour documents are issued after final payment is made and sent approximately 3 to 4 weeks prior to departure by registered post.
Cancellations penalties prior to departure all cancellations must be made in writing and signed by the nominated tour leader outlining the reasons for the cancellation.
Notice Periods
More than 20 days: 80% refundable of total tour package 7 - 19 days: 60% refundable of total tour package *6 days or less: 40% refundable of total tour package
(except in all these cases for the price of flights)
All cancellations will also incur an administration fee determined by Playargentina Sport y Travel SA not exceeding 50% of money already received.
*In the event of a non arrival or a cancellation made after 2pm GMT on the last business day of the applicable week before departure, a 20% refund will be made.
Failure to check in for flights in accordance with the relevant airline's standard operating procedure prior to departure may result in a denial of boarding and as a result a 20% refund will be granted. (excluding the price of the flight)
There is no refund for unused or missed days of the tour.
Modifications
The following fees apply to modifications made to reservations or bookings:
Name changes - US$50
Date changes:
- postponement incurs a 20% charge against the total cost of tour - brought forward dates incurs a 5% charge against the total cost of the tour (excluding flight prices)
Only one modification per tour is accepted. A second modification gives the right to Playargentina Sport y Travel SA to cancel the tour.
As a result of extreme weather conditions or other situations, reserves the right to Playargentina Sport and Travel SA modify transportation and/or the itinerary of the tour.
Refunds
Playargentina Sport & Travel SA reserves the right to cancel any tour for no reason due to local, national or international circumstances. A full refund will be paid in this case.
Playargentina Sport & Travel SA can not be responsible for any delays or changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, strikes or other factors beyond Playargentina Sport y Travel SA 's control.
Should any additional delay or nights be required due to these causes, the hotel, meal and associated costs will be the passenger´s responsibility.
If conditions necessitate changes or certain features are unavailable or limited due to local or national holidays, Playargentina Sport y Travel SA reserves the right to vary itineraries and substitute alternatives of a similar nature and value. If substitutes result in a lower cost then the difference will be refunded.
No refunds will be made for any unused group services provided as part of the tour.
If a refund is received subject to the terms outlined, no further sum by way of compensation, damages or otherwise will be owed to any passenger.
Tour price includes
Tours are locally hosted or escorted as noted in the day by day itinerary.
Hotel accommodation is selected in order to offer the best value accommodation. All rooms are standard unless otherwise stated. Check In times are generally after 12pm and Checkout times before 10am. All hotels offer the facility to store baggage if required. Breakfast is included in all hotel accommodation. All transfers made to and from the airport and to and from the match / practice day venues unless stated.
Full use of sporting facilities and hosting arrangements outlined in the itinerary.
Not included
Personal expenses such as passport, visas, room service, telephone calls, laundry, beverages and optional activities. Gratuities are optional.
It is the responsibility of passengers to consult with their embassies to determine what documentation is required to travel to Argentina from their country of origin.
Any loss, damage or stolen baggage that may occur.
All fixtures arranged against opposing teams will be selected in order to try and provide a similar physical and level of ability for touring sides playing team sports. Playargentina Sport y Travel SA accepts no liability for any injuries or resulting score lines as a result of organized matches or non-organized matches/practice sessions.
Membership on Tour
Playargentina Sport y Travel SA reserves the right to accept, reject or not retain any person as a tour participant whose condition or general behavior impedes the operation of the tour or affects the rights of enjoyment or welfare of other passengers.
A refund of unused tour services shall be the total extent of Playargentina Sport y Travel SA liability if a person is required to leave the tour.
